When Angela first got in touch with me about her branding photo shoot I was totally floored by her email. It actually took me a day to respond as her honesty and vulnerability immediately created connection and that deserves more than a simple response.

There is something so special about that. That instant sense of connection you feel with someone who is a total stranger but has been brave enough to show their true selves to you. It's what I live for as a photographer. Connection and honest beautiful portraiture.

Angela is an executive business coach based in Australia but a citizen of the world and the creator of her own version of success. Her personality is that of an intelligent, driven and kind woman whose decisions come from a place of love.

Love for what she does and who she serves.

We started off in Notting Hill, exploring the mews streets and market. The owner of the Electric Cinema on Portobello Road even invited us in to take some photos inside their amazing cinema. Notting Hill offered up so much opportunity for some beautiful summer portraits and I couldn't of asked for more from Angela.

We then rushed to the other side of the city for Afternoon tea at Dandelyan at The Mondrian one of the world's best cocktail bars. We chose this place not only for the amazing experience it offers a traveller like Angela but because the bar itself is stunning with strong colours and perfect light for strong lifestyle portraits.

We then went and enjoyed the sun on the beach along The Southbank and I love the image of Angela against the London Skyline in a proper power pose.

There was one last stop to my home to collect Esther. Angela is a fierce animal lover whose dogs are currently at home in Australia so she wanted to find a way to show that side of her and Esther accepts bribes of Denta Sticks despite being a reluctant model!

I had such a wonderful day connecting with and capturing Angela. It's why I do this work, to be inspired and to help those who walk the road less travelled by giving them the content and confidence to share their message.
